Thankful Thursday

 

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I can admit that I indulged more than I should've but I just couldn't help myself. Never the less I enjoyed my holiday with my favorite people...my family. Here is my OOTD from yesterday so I guess its my OOTY! lol. I bought this fur vest last year from Forever 21and it still feels soft and it has held up very well. I was playing around with this top I got from the Goodwill and I thought hey, why don't I take the belt off of the vest and add it around my waist! Bam! I added some simple gold hoop earrings and I was ready for my day. Just adding the belt was simple but it gave the top a totally different look. That's why I love fashion. You can create looks with the things you already have and rock it. Also I had to mention that I'm so in love with my new fall bag. I got it from a small boutique store in San Francisco called Marian's. (they don't have a website) My jeans are Rock and Republic Similar Here and I wore my BCBG black suede booties. I will admit that during the cold seasons my lips get rather dry and peel a lot. It is very frustrating and I have been unsuccessful in finding a simple and cheap remedy until now. Hello Loves. Just wanted to post my OOTD! The hat is from Forever 21 out of stock, alternative Here, sweater from Target Here, plaid shirt from the Goodwill and boots are Material Girl on sale Here, jeans are Levi's mid rise bootcut skinny (size 10M) all Levi jeans are on sale at Macy's for $39.99 Here. I'm thinking about wearing all black for this season. Hello everyone. Hope you all are settling in to fall. Here in California the weather has been nice. We are still getting some sunshine and no sign of rain. I was excited to post my class project that I just completed today. This project involved creating an album cover. The assignment was to create a title, style the album from front to back (with graphics) , and include 5 songs as the soundtrack. It was a bit challenging coming up with a concept because there are so many genres of music. So I stuck to my roots and decided to go with a Califonia theme. The album cover was shot using the concepts about our beautiful women, our hot cars, and our beautiful weather. Of course for the soundtrack we added classic songs from Dr. Dre and Tupac ( all with our cali inspired theme). The cars we used for the shoot were old school cadillacs.! they were gorgeous and in mint condition. I would have to say adding the graphics was pretty intense not to mention editing the photos. I still have so much to learn about creating the perfect photo. I am learning as I go and I am enjoying the whole process. Hope your weekend was awesome.
